Zusammenfassung: | Developing cultural sensitivity and a sense of our global interdependence is a challenge to all educators. A professional global perspective is needed to broaden the study of education and the search for solutions to educational problems. To ensure that teachers develop the knowledge and skills necessary to promote the development of a global perspective in their students, it is recom mended that a global perspective be incorporated throughout the teacher education curriculum rather than added in a few courses. Suggestions are given for developing an enhanced global perspective through general studies, foundations of education, curriculum and instruction, and clinical experiences. |
