A computed tomographic (CT) scan (Figure 1 ) of the midfacial region, obtained without the intravenous administration of contrast material, revealed an expansile mass involving the anterior portion of the right maxilla and alveolar ridge; the maxillary spine was remodeled toward the left. The overlying cortex is smooth, but there is sclerosis at the margin of the bone. Because the study was performed without the intravenous administration of contrast material, the possibility of enhancement cannot be evaluated.
