Zusammenfassung: | Fluid‐solid reactions make up a large number of important processes in the chemical and metallurgical industries. Despite their enormous importance, much confusion still exists in the systematic and quantitative analysis of the kinetics of these reactions. Even more serious are the frequent misapplications of existing theories. This series of articles reviews the advances made in the quantitative analysis and mathematical models of fluid‐solid reactions with the aim of providing information on the principles involved in the correct approach for describing the rates of fluid‐solid reactions. This Part 1 of the series covers the analysis of the reactions in which the starting solid has little initial porosity. |
