Zusammenfassung:We identify specimens belonging to the original material of the names Onosmodium molle Michaux (Boraginaceae) and Verbena riparia Raf. ex Small & Heller (Verbenaceae). We designate the lectotype for O. molle . On the other hand, we present evidence that original material of V. riparia is indeed the holotype, which supersedes a previous lectotype designation.
