Zusammenfassung:	A 47-year-old man presented to the Emergency Department (ED) of Policlinico San Donato Hospital, complaining of worsening of fatigue and dysphagia. His medical history revealed a 2-year slowly progressive inability to swallow solid foods and liquids and unexplained 15 kg weight lost within the last 2 months. The patient had been screened for gastritis and reflux esophagitis.
