Zusammenfassung: | An abstract from a presentation at the 2000 Employment Research Unit Annual Conference, held in September 2000 at the Cardiff Business School, is presented. Commencing in January 2000, studies of the family friendly policies in 20 finance sector organizations with a base in Scotland are being undertaken as a first phase of the project discussed. Each organizational study comprises: in-depth interviews with relevant managerial staff; a full questionnaire check list mapping out the components of the FFP, its initiation, links with other aspects of employment policy and means by which communication, consultation, negotiation are undertaken, both with respect to the FFP but also more generally within the organization. |
