Ethics courses: Their impact on the values and ethical decisions of criminal justice students1

Lord and Bjerregaard examines the impact of a criminal justice ethics course in the curriculum on the students' value orientations and their perceptions of the seriousness of ethical violations and their likelihood of engaging in such behaviors. The results of the study are consistent with the results of evaluating ethics courses in other disciplines. The implications of criminal justice ethics education are also discussed.
