Zusammenfassung:— The influence of calcium-containing reagents on the high-temperature autoclave extraction of alumina from the red mud formed from the Timan deposit bauxites by the parallel Bayer sintering method is experimentally studied. The phase composition of the interaction products is determined by XRD and EDXR. The extraction of alumina from the red mud is shown to be higher when surface-carbonized lime is used in the process.
