Zusammenfassung:The experimental data on determining the equilibrium potentials of a number of rare-earth metals, namely, lanthanum, neodymium, praseodymium, gadolinium, holmium, and erbium, in a eutectic mixture of lithium, potassium, and cesium chlorides are used to find the temperature dependences of the conventional standard potentials of these metals and to calculate the thermodynamic characteristics of formation of their chlorides in a melt.
