Landscape as Textual Practice in Coleridge's Notebooks

The tradition of picturesque tourism into which Samuel Taylor Coleridge's landscape descriptions of his "Notebooks" are provocatively inscribed is discussed. Coleridge's descriptions are jottings filled with abbreviations and tiny sketches.
