Zusammenfassung:This study examines the bronze and textile industries of the Mycenaeans, through the structure, archaeometric analysis of metal and the textile residues on the Aegean type razor from the Kemal Uğurbil Private Collection. The role of the two different industries in Mycenaean economic structure has been assessed through the types of the metal from which it was produced and the presence of textile remains on the metal. The razor of the Mycenaeans has been analyzed by using portable Energy Dispersive X Ray Florescence Spectroscopy and Scan Electron Microscopy coupled with Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy (SEM-EDS). The results proved that the razor was made of bronze Cu 90 % and tin (Sn) 10 %. Beside this the textile clothing the razor, made visible by using SEM, was identified as linen. One of the oldest used textile is linen which known in the Mycenaean world from tablets.
