Zusammenfassung: | One of the issues of an iron loss estimation is the modeling of an excess loss. This paper investigates the modeling method for the excess loss under dc-biased conditions. The proposed approach is based on the 1-D finite-element analysis for the silicon steel sheet in the thickness direction considering hysteretic property and skin effect. In addition, the magnetic flux density waveform is divided into the outline loop and minor loops and estimate the excess loss of each loop using the eddy current loss correction factor \kappa taking account of dc-biased conditions. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, we compare the estimated loss with measured one for the harmonic wave in single sheet tester. |
