Figure 4 illustrates the flow of authentication for both RESTful HTTP. Since the RESTful HTTP is a stateless protocol, therefore, for each sensor data transmission, it should always contains the token credential located in the HTTP header part. 5.3.Data Management The sensor data received by cloud platform should then be stored on a database management system (DBMS) for further processing and access. Furthermore, a sensor data can be transmitted in the form of streaming ranging from daily period to a near real time fashion which may leads to a huge volume of sensor data storage.
