Editorial foreword

This issue of JESP features our first themed section, on Migration and Social Policy. This is a new initiative by the editorial team to highlight themes on which the journal has accepted individual article manuscripts. The themed sections are not commissioned or edited but simply clustered together by the editorial team. We will use our editorial prerogative to publish similar themed sections in the future, as and when other themes on which many of our authors are writing on will emerge.
