Type I keratin 16 forms relatively unstable tetrameric assembly subunits with various type II keratin partners: Biochemical basis and functional implications / Discussion

Coulombe et al determined the biochemical basis of the unique tetramer-forming properties of K16 as a first step toward understanding its significance in regulation and function. The results are discussed.
