Zusammenfassung: | The College is committed to enabling surgeons to attain and maintain the highest standards of surgical practice and patient care. This is achieved through a number of different mechanisms, including the setting of professional standards, such as Good Surgical Practice, and clinical standards, such as recent publications on standards for children’s surgery and emergency surgery. The College also plays a key role in the training and education of surgeons, and so we are well placed to recognise how important it is to have a clear strategy that links workforce, service and training. |
