Zusammenfassung:In this study we investigate the performance of a new commercial 2D diode array SRS MapCHECKTM for its clinical use. The performance of the SRS MapCHECKTM was evaluated using wedge profiles compared with EBT3 radiochromic film measurements and with the profiles obtained from the treatment planning system. The results show a good correspondence between the two dosimeters. The absolute dosimetric evaluation for an end to end test with EBT3 film and PinPoint 3D ionization chamber was performed and the results showed local percentage differences less than 1.1% in both cases. Ten intracranial radiosurgery treatment plans were irradiated with all fields composite at 0° and the measured dose distributions were compared with the calculated ones. The average for gamma index result of (2%/1.5mm) was 97.21%. The SRS MapCHECKTM offers the dosimetric characteristics required in relative and absolute dosimetry for the verification of intracranial radiosurgery treatments (in restricted collapsed test of gantry at 0°).
