King Jehoiachin and the Vessels of the Lord's House in Biblical Literature

In the Book of 2 Kings, the account of the reign of King Jehoiachin of Juda is given in ten verses (2 Kings 24:8-17). Of these verses, eight are devoted to the king's exile and the punishment of the Judean kingdom by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon.
