Zusammenfassung: | For all the talk of a crisis of confidence in the region of the former Soviet Union (FSU), international business goes on as it has done throughout the decade since the fall of Communism. This article reports on the views of foreign and local partners who have established joint ventures in Kazakstan, the largest of the independent satellite republics of the FSU. Findings suggest that such joint ventures are playing an integral role in the growth of business in Kazakstan, although they are difficult to manage successfully. |
