Zusammenfassung: | Silver nanoparticles were prepared in polymeric solution of ethanol by laser ablation method. The effect of these nanoparticles on the linear and nonlinear optical properties of neutral red dye has been studied. Single beam Z-scan technique was used for the nonlinear characterization of the samples. The nonlinear optical properties of neutral red dye enhanced significantly in the presence of silver nanoparticles and the reasoning is given on the basis of increased local field effects of nanoparticles. |
