Zusammenfassung: | A reply to Rungtusanatham and Anderson's critique (1996) is presented, The critique addresses 3 conceptual concerns and 2 methodological concerns in the paper - Comparing the effects of cellular and functional manufacturing on employees' perceptions and attitudes - by Shafer, Tepper, Meredith, and Marsh (1995). While the stated intention of the remarks was in the spirit of scholarly advancement, the remarks are found to be incorrect in several instances, and relatively minor and technical in the other cases. It is argued that the issues raised in the critique do not change the substantive findings reported in the original paper. |
