Zusammenfassung:The first part of the interview was given exclusively to the Latin American Journal of Social Sciences, Niñez and Youth. The second part will be published in Volumen 10, No. 2 of July-December 2012. Interviewer Doctora Isabel Orofino, Professor ESPM, Sao Paulo, Brazil. Throughout an indispensable academic career with the author of several books on critical theory of education, Professor Moacir Gadotti also consolidates the Paulo Freire Institute; It is a non-governmental organization that leads a dozen transformative projects with school education in Brazil. In this interview Prof. Gadotti tells us a little about his life story, from his childhood memories to political activism, and reflects on the constitutive political dimensions of his choices. Below are some excerpts from the interview granted by the Latin American Journal of Social Sciences, Childhood and Youth.
