Zusammenfassung:The life cycle of Dystus puberulus Stål, including all developmental stages, is described and notes on its biology are provided. The association of this rare species of Scutelleridae with several species of Ficus is reported for first time. Nymphs and adults of this species feed on the immature fruits, which resembles them in shape and color. Nymphs and adults are densely setose, with slightly flattened antenna, characteristics that are unusual in Scutelleridae.
