Zusammenfassung:Business school commencement speeches given by various leaders in business and the academy are presented. When speaking to Dartmouth College's Amos Tuck School of Business, US senator Phil Gramm stressed the virtues of capitalism and the importance of not feeling apologetic about being engaged in business - a profession often viewed as a cold-hearted endeavor. Guardian Industries Corp.'s William Davidson discussed the changing world and US industry's relationship with the government in his speech delivered at the University of Michigan's School of Business Administration. While addressing Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, Thomas G. Labrecque of the Chase Manhattan Corp. discussed some of the changes necessary for the US to maintain a strong economic position in the future.
