Zusammenfassung: | In 1960 David and his wife, Gillian—both graduates from Leeds University School of Medicine—moved to Sherburn-in-Elmet, where David joined the well established village practice. The practice became a training practice and also taught undergraduates from the Leeds University and London’s University College Hospital schools of medicine. David promoted the formation of a primary health care team, with weekly clinical meetings attended by medical and nursing colleagues, attached nurses, health visitors, and social workers, which continues to function to this day. |
