Zusammenfassung: | In historical writing those who stand out are Ibn al-H.asan al-Nubh, of JRAS, Series 3, 16, 2 (2006), pp. 199229 C[circlecopyrt] The Royal Asiatic Society 2006 Printed in the United Kingdom 200 Reviews of Books Mlaga ofcial historian of the Nasrids whose history reaches to the time of Muh.ammad V -, and Ibn al-Khat .b, who wrote ve works of this type, the most important being al-Lamh.a al-badriyya and al-Ih.t.a. Society was composed of Muslims of Arab origin, Berbers and immigrants, according to Ibn alKhat .b, apart from the Christians and Jews who were components not integrated into Nasrid society. On the ourishing culture of Nasrid Granada in the fteenth century, Ari points out recent studies that are bringing to light the chronicles of that century, such as the Junnat al-Rid., a work dedicated to the sultan Muh.ammad IX El Zurdo and dated 1451, where the author reports on the main successes of the rst half of the fteenth century. At the end of the century the last risla was written, which the lawyer Abd Allh al-Arab, better known by the name of al-Sharf al-Uqayl, composed on behalf of Boabdil, addressed to the Wat.t.s sovereign of Morocco, requesting political asylum. |
