Zusammenfassung:After the tragedy of the Holocaust, emerged huge questions about the appropriateness of its artistic representation. Can be distinguished two tendencies in the studies that have been done about it: one was in the years 60-80, and the other, which began in the 90s, continues today. Addressing such issues involves to deal with the question of silence and assess a some ethical aspects related to artistic expression. One should ask what is the scope that has this notion in the arts.
