Zusammenfassung:Funding Food Science and Nutrition Research: Financial Conflicts and Scientific Integrity is an important article for all registered dietitians and dietetic technicians, registered. The guiding principles for conducting research in food, nutrition, and health, as outlined in this article, were developed by the Conflict of Interest/ Scientific Integrity Guiding Principles Working Group of the International Life Sciences Institute North America. Voicing their support for the article and its guiding principles, Finn and Geiger stress that research guidelines enable dietitians to take an important and necessary step toward defusing conflicts of interest and credibility, and securing strong, ongoing support for vital nutrition research.
