Elected Traditional and Contemporary Foods Currently Being Used by the Pima Indians
Non-insulin diabetes and obesity frequency are extraordinarily high among the Pima Indian population. Because of the uniqueness of Piman population and food, a nutrient database with specific entries for Piman food is being developed. Traditional and contemporary Piman foods are discussed.
