Zusammenfassung:Motivation and morale are critically important. Research plainly shows very strong relationships between employees morale and measures of business performance: gains on the order of 30-40 person can be realized by implementing work practices that result in high employee morale. Research results show that leaders should care about the morale of their employees - not because of a humanitarian concern for worker happiness, but because study after study unmistakably shows a direct link between employee morale and company performance. A major reason for the relationship between employee morale and business results is that satisfied employees lead to satisfied customers and thus to higher sales. This article presents a discussion about how employers can maintain employee motivation and morale.
