Activation of aluminum nanopowder combustion in water vapor by O^sub 2^ additions
The paper reports on the effect of molecular oxygen on the combustion of aluminum nanoparticles in water vapor. Model analysis has shown that small additions of oxygen (molar fraction 1% to 3 %) accelerate the aluminum burning in steam by about an order of magnitude.
