Zusammenfassung:In addition to the board members, we must also thank the many other referees who reviewed and evaluated the articles submitted this year. Besides ensuring that the articles printed in Reference & User Services Quarterly are of the highest quality possible, the feedback of the referees helps our colleagues present their best work, and authors frequently ask us to express their thanks to referees for the guidance they provide. The Information Literacy and Instruction column, edited by Lori Arp, assistant to the university librarian at Northwestern University, and Beth S. Woodard, central information services librarian and associate professor of library administration, Reference Library, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, continued to provide insights and inspiration in this important area, with columns on "Curiosity and Creativity as Attributes of Information Literacy" (Randy Burke Hensley), "The Three Arenas of Information Literacy Assessment" (Bonnie Gratch Lindauer), "One-On-One Instruction: From the Reference Desk to Online Chat" (Beth S. Woodard), and "Beyond the Classroom Instruction and Design: Formulating a Vision for Learning Spaces in Libraries" (Charles Forrest and Lisa Janicke Hinchliffe). [...]it has been a year filled with sadness due to the loss of dear colleagues Margaret E. Monroe, Bill Katz, and Dan Kissane.
