Removal of ribonucleases from solution using an inhibitor-based sol-gel-derived Biogel

Ribonucleases secreted from the hands of a researcher can easily contaminate solutions for nucleic acid analyses and can lower the yield of RNA during sample preparation. The removal of ribonucleases from solution using an inhibitor-based sol-gel-derived biogel is described.
