Zusammenfassung:A comment is presented on Richard J. Cebula's and James V. Koch's piece, Disseminating Scholarly Output: A Comment. Cebula and Koch argue that it is important to define the lineage of the idea of multiple submission and object to the failure to cite their 1982 article on the subject in a 1994 paper. It is argued that Cebula and Coch do not have ownership of the concept of multiple submissions because they were not the first to discuss the subject and their treatment of it is not so unique as to be worthy of citation whenever any future scholar discusses it.
