Asynchronous Bilateral Achilles Tendon Ruptures and Androstenediol Use

Anabolic steroid use is associated with an increased risk for tendon ruptures. Here, Battista et al report a case of asynchronous bilateral Achilles tendon ruptures in a patient who intermittently used oral androstenediol supplements.
