Zusammenfassung:Overt signs of victim resistance during rape are critical issues in the handling of and recovery from rape\sexual assault. However, a number of victims do not resist the attacker due to an involuntary condition known as tonic immobility (TI), where the victim may "freeze." The degree of similarity between the features of rape victim immobility and the features of TI are evaluated.
