Zusammenfassung:Although the defibrillation threshold is considered to be lower with the dual coil than with the single coil, there are also reports that there is no significant difference in the defibrillation threshold with single and dual coil. In addition, if device infection occurs, the SVC coil will adhere to the right atrium and removal of the lead becomes difficult, so single coil is often selected. The choice of single coil and dual coil is controversy still. So we investigated the necessary output for successful defibrillation and the volume of potential difference causing the myocardial injury by using a computer simulation.
