Zusammenfassung:This article’s discussion is based on Michel Foucault’s concepts of utopian body and heterotopias, as well as on the images of Gilles Deleuze and of the movie After the Rain. The film has as its main setting a school in the state of Bahia, where some students compete for the control of the student’s council, while others create a pirate radio to spread anarchistic ideas. These articulations take place in the period of the post-dictatorship years in Brazil, in 1985. In this context, the article intends to think the construction of counter spaces in the images presented by the film, considering the framing, the timing of the shots in the editing of the film, and the composition of the frames. This way, the article proposes to develop a filmic analysis towards the relationship between cinema, education and philosophy, from a cartographic construction of the heterotopias of the images.
