Admissibility of delegates to international meetings

Sir: The recent denial of admission to Israeli participants of the First International Information Conference, jointly sponsored by the American Society for Information Science and the Egyp tian Society for Information Technology [1] was not the first, and will not be the last, incident of its type. The issue is of great importance, but does not lend itself to simple solution.
