Zusammenfassung:An abstract of an article by Much et al evaluating the effect of diet on body composition is presented. Treatments consisted of either a pelleted concentrate designed to meet or exceed NRC 2007 requirements (CON; n=13), or an iso-caloric, iso-nitrogenous pellet (FORT; n=10) that included amino acid fortification, complexed trace minerals, and fermentation metabolites. Concentrates were offered individually at 0.75% BW per d at 12-h intervals.
