Integrative learning nationwide: emerging themes and practices

In the summer of 2003, the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Association of American Colleges and Universities issued a call for campus participation in a new national project to investigate and promote integrative learning in undergraduate education, Integrative Learning: Opportunities to Connect. DeZure et al highlight areas that campuses mentioned most frequently for piloting or implementation, note other areas less frequently mentioned, and examine important themes and practices that emerged from the analysis.
