Zusammenfassung: | Nagasawa et a discuss the study of the Hatschekia monacanthi Yamaguti (Copepoda, Hatschekiidae) as gill parasite of black scraper, Thamnaconus modestus maricultured in Japan. Copepods were carefully removed from the gills and preserved in 70% ethanol. The scientific and common names of fishes mentioned in the paper follow Froese and Pauly (2017). The finding of H. monacanthi in the study represents the first record in a global perspective, of copepod of the family Hatschekia from cultured marine fishes. |
