Colorado River Delta

Cohn features the Colorado River Delta, which stretches from the Gulf of California to Yuma, Arizona, and the Salton Sea. Before people started tinkering with it, the Colorado often flooded when runoff water from winter snows and springs rains turned the river into a raging giant. Now, it is one of the most controlled rivers in the world where every drop of its water is virtually managed and counted.
