Zusammenfassung: | As organizations adapt in response to changing environmental conditions, there should be a corresponding change and adaptation in institutions of higher learning. The environment for academia is also changing. This is particularly true for business schools as industry leaders require graduates with different types of skills and abilities, better suited to the current business environment. However, business schools often have a great deal of difficulty identifying important environmental shifts that will affect them. A few undergraduate schools of business across the US are attempting to respond to this changing environment and offer an alternative business education curriculum. Unfortunately, there have been limited forums for discussion and exchange of information concerning these fledgling curriculum redesign efforts. An attempt is made to bridge that gap. |
