Zusammenfassung: | Research on the Sex Practices of 1566 Lesbians and the Clinical Applications When working with lesbians, I believe that one must consider and analyze the sociology of the majority culture. Lesbians live in a homophobic, misogynist world. Therefore, when working with lesbians on the most intimate part of their behavior, that of their sexual encounters, one must be willing to take into account the impact the culture has on their sense of self and their self-worth. In addition, because the culture identifies lesbians by whom they have genital contact with, sexual activity becomes more than behavior, it becomes an entire identity.
