Prune belly syndrome co-existing with the VACTERL-complex in a bacground of antenatal ingestion of traditional concoction

Salihu et al report a peculiar case of a combination of prune belly syndrome and the VACTERL-sequence from an underdeveloped country where facilities for cytogenetic investigation are not available. The history of traditional medication by the mother could probably be a contributory factor.
