Zusammenfassung:Globalization has major impact on policy areas that have been key to the Scandinavian model and many of these areas are what one might expect: trade policy, currency exchange rates, and monetary policy all lie in the area in which economic globalization to intersect national economic policy is expected. In good times, globalization is frequently hailed as history's new propellant; during bad times it is blamed for nearly every social problem. Here, Einhorn and Logue assess the experience of the small, open Nordic welfare states whose experience with globalization in its many forms is extensive and intensive.
