Zusammenfassung:Liquid–liquid equilibrium of the ternary and quaternary systems (heptane + toluene + dimethyl sulfoxide), (heptane + toluene + dimethylsulfoxide + methanol), (heptane + toluene +dimethylsulfoxide + ethanol) were studied at 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure. The thermodynamic consistency of the experimental data was verified by Othmer-Tobias and Hand correlations. Selectivity and solute distribution ratio were calculated and experimental data were correlated by the nonrandom Two-Liquid activity coefficient model. Correlated results are in good agreement with experimental data.
