Zusammenfassung:Political advertising, political public relations and political marketing are the notions of political communication. Political public relations refers to produce meaning in favour of political actors and parties in the mind of electorate without any force but thanks to mutual consent. Political language that such meanings are produced and presented to electorates is a special subject to be studied. This study reveals how the use of analogy, that is the reasoning technique based on resemblance and relationship between two things, is used by political leaders in the field of political language. Within the scope of this study several analogy samples from speeches of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, CHP Leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, MHP Leader Devlet Bahçeli and HDP ex-Leader Selahattin Demirtaş at different times were examined.
