Zusammenfassung:Total cholesterol and triglycerides, lipoproteins, glucose tolerance, plasma factor X and antithrombin III were determined in 75 women who had received 12-24 consecutive intragluteal injections of 'Norigest' (200 mg of norethisterone oenanthate) every 56 days. 21 women aged 22-49 not using any form of steroidal contraception were studied as controls. High-density-lipoprotein cholesterol values in the treated women were significantly lower than values in the controls. There were no significant differences between the treated and control groups for any of the other measurements.
